These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Unfreeze: AI Speaking Coach mobile application ("the App"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. Description of Service

Unfreeze is an AI-powered public speaking coach that helps you build speaking confidence through practice scenarios, voice analysis, and personalized coaching feedback. The App uses third-party AI services to transcribe and analyze your voice recordings.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. By using the App, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

3. Subscriptions & Payments

• Unfreeze offers auto-renewable subscription plans (weekly, monthly, and yearly).
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings.
• Free trial periods, if offered, automatically convert to a paid subscription unless canceled before the trial ends.
• No refunds are provided for unused portions of a subscription period, except as required by applicable law.

4. Voice Data & AI Processing

By using the voice recording features of the App, you acknowledge and agree that:

• Your voice recordings are sent to OpenAI for transcription and analysis.
• The resulting transcripts are sent to OpenAI for generating coaching feedback.
• You will be asked for explicit consent before voice data is processed.
• Voice data is not stored on external servers after processing is complete.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the App
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
• Use the App to record or process third parties' voices without their consent

6. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the App — including text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio, the Ace character, scenarios, and the 21-day curriculum — are owned by Unfreeze and protected by intellectual property laws.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that AI-generated coaching feedback will be accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose. Unfreeze is not a substitute for professional speech therapy, mental health treatment, or medical advice.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Unfreeze shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time for violation of these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time and delete all your data via Settings.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of France, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
